IMPORTANT CHANGES TO MASSACHUSETTS AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE

As you are aware, April 1st was the start of Competitive Rating in Massachusetts. This is a big change for the residents of Massachusetts and can be very confusing.

LTB would like to make sure that our customers are not only informed but have the assistance they need to make the decisions that are right for them.

LTB is also proud to announce that we have the ability to rate the Top 10 carriers in the state and find the one that is right for you…saving you time and money!

While price is important, LTB is also committed to providing our customers with the personal service they deserve!

One of the most frequently asked question is “When will I see these new rates on my policy?”…

Each policy holder will become eligible for the new rates and additional coverages upon their next renewal date.

For example, if you renew on July 1st 2008 you will be contacted by us one month prior to your renewal date. We will go over all of the changes including the new rates and additional coverages. We will then “shop” your policy around to see which carrier is right for you. Not all of the carriers offer the same discounts and coverages so it will be important for LTB to match you with the company that fits you best.

Of course, there are many customers who will not want to wait until their renewal date….in this case, we can cancel your old policy and start a new one. While this can save you money please note that most insurance companies have the right to apply a cancellation fee for cancelling “mid-term” . Therefore it will be important for us to weigh the savings of switching early against the penalty for cancelling early.
